About The Once and Future Citizen Conference 2024

The 2024 Once and Future Citizen Conference aimed to promote civil discourse, civic engagement, and youth agency. Through keynotes, workshops, and dialogue with peers, high school students  learned how to remain in difficult conversations in order to better their own understandings of the issues that matter to them. This student-run conference was a unique opportunity for civic-minded young people hoping to make a difference in the world.
