Conference Preparation

As students prepared to attend OFC 2024, we invited them to think about what they wanted to get out of the conference: 

"There will be speakers with a range of backgrounds and expertise - what do you hope to ask or learn from them? You will meet civic-minded peers from an incredible variety of educational experiences - boarding, charter, home school, independent, public - how can this moment be useful to you in your own growth?"

Prior to the conference, we posted our Speakers bios and offered students Networking tips. Additionally, students who had not registered to vote could visit our Voter Registration page for information, or register onsite.  

We were excited to see participants eagerly engage with speakers and with each other. What at amazing experience our first conference was!
